What the site collects, what it does not collect, where the corpus lives, and how to exercise GDPR rights. Minimum editorial policy, not a generic legal template.

What data is not collected

The site does not place its own cookies, does not contain PII-bearing analytics scripts, does not individually profile readers, does not share data with third parties, does not use pixel tracking, does not load fonts from external servers, does not embed videos with cookies (the videos in the colophon use youtube-nocookie.com in privacy-enhanced mode).

The deterministic mutations at /en/states/state-3 read data from the browser (local time, scroll, time zone, history in localStorage) but nothing of that leaves the browser. Everything lives on your device and can be deactivated with one click from the sticky counter.

Cookies that the hosting may set

The site is served from Netlify. Netlify may set up to two technical session cookies (nf_jwt, _netlify_session) used exclusively for internal routing and fraud prevention. They are not under editorial control. The full Netlify policy is at netlify.com/privacy.

If in a future phase the site incorporates aggregated analytics (Plausible or equivalent, no cookies, no PII), it will be announced with a visible version bump in the colophon before activation. The seventh deontological rule of State 3 covers this commitment.

Where the corpus lives

Editorial content lives in a public git repository on GitHub under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence for text and diagrams, MIT for code. The compiled site is hosted on Netlify (global CDN). There is no database. There is no backend with reader data. If Netlify were to disappear tomorrow, the complete corpus would still be available in the repo and could be redeployed on any static hosting.

GDPR rights

As no personally identifiable data is collected, the rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection and portability do not apply to this site. If you receive correspondence from a tresestados.design address (unlikely: the domain does not send automated emails), you may exercise any of those rights by writing to:

me@joanarbo.com

Guaranteed response within 30 days, usually in less than 48 hours.
